Al Ansari Exchange, a subsidiary of Al Ansari Financial Services PJSC, is testing artificial intelligence in its mobile app as part of Dubai’s push for businesses to adopt more autonomous AI systems.
Commitment to Dubai’s Transformation Programme
The initiative is part of Al Ansari Financial Services’ participation in a Dubai government programme where 11 companies pledged to integrate agentic AI into their operations with support from Dubai Chambers. The company is exploring how AI can enhance internal processes like compliance while ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Rashed A. Al Ansari, Group CEO, stated, “Our work with voice AI is a stepping stone towards more advanced applications, including agentic AI. AI will play an increasingly important role in customer service and internal processes.”
Enhancing Customer Experience
Ali Al Najjar, CEO of Al Ansari Exchange, noted that voice AI has been implemented in their app to assist customers with navigating services and completing tasks. The focus remains on accuracy and providing access to customer service when needed.
The company’s digital expansion aligns with Dubai’s move towards a cashless economy, with digital channels accounting for 27% of remittance value in 2025. This shift supports the use of tools like the voice feature in the app.
Dubai’s cashless transactions index reached 90.1% as of October 9, surpassing the 90% target set for 2026 under the Dubai Cashless Strategy.
