Tanmiah Food Company has signed strategic agreements with the National Grain Supply Company (SABIL) and its subsidiary, the National Grain Company (NGC), to enhance grain supply and feed security for its poultry operations in Saudi Arabia. The agreements were announced at the 43rd Saudi Agriculture Exhibition in Riyadh.

Strategic Agreements for Grain Storage and Procurement
The agreement with SABIL provides Tanmiah with a dedicated grain storage facility in Al-Kharj, which includes joint quality inspection, inventory management, and dispatch services. This facility allows Tanmiah to manage its grain supply efficiently, ensuring traceability from receipt to dispatch.
The second agreement with NGC enables Tanmiah to jointly procure vessel cargoes of feed grains and hedge price exposure in international commodity markets. This collaboration allows Tanmiah to benefit from bulk freight economics and consistent feed quality, leveraging NGC’s international sourcing expertise.
Commitment to Food Security and Vision 2030
The agreements align with Tanmiah’s commitment to a resilient feed supply chain and support Saudi Vision 2030’s food security objectives. Zulfiqar Hamadani, Group CEO of Tanmiah, emphasized the transformation in grain procurement, securing high-quality grain at competitive costs. Abdulrahman bin Saud Al-Owais, CEO of SABIL, highlighted the strategic expansion and efficiency in logistics solutions.
Both agreements reflect the role of SALIC’s companies in strengthening national grain supply chains and supporting the Kingdom’s food security goals.
